    Tamlyn Price breaks EP swimming record

    Grahamstown swimmer Tamlyn Price set a new Eastern Province record for the 50m backstroke at the National Aquatic Championships at Kings Park Aquatics Centre in Durban last week.

    Grahamstown swimmer Tamlyn Price set a new Eastern Province record for the 50m backstroke at the National Aquatic Championships at Kings Park Aquatics Centre in Durban last week.

    Price clocked 28:51 seconds and came eighth overall in the final.

    She made the semi-finals for the 50m backstroke, the 100m backstroke and 50m freestyle.

    An impressive nine athletes swam to a total of seventeen Commonwealth Games qualification times at the champs.
