Agang has had several of its posters defaced and torn up in Grahamstown recently. Jarryd Munslow has the story.

The National Electoral Code of Conduct was signed in Gauteng on Wednesday 19 March by 29 of the 33 parties contesting the 2014 national elections..

The parties agreed to electoral campaigning that would be free from intimidation.

However, in Grahamstown, both Agang and the DA’s posters have already been vandalised.

Grahamstown representative of Agang, Jock McConnachie said posters are vital to any election campaign, as they give a party crucial visibility.

The people responsible for defacing Agang’s posters on Friday 21 March are yet to be identified.
