Six weeks of night bowls action culminated in the finals last Friday evening 7 March when The Knock Shop took on Stan's Transport in the main final of the Pepper Grove Pick n Pay Inter Company Night Bowls league.

The event was hosted at the Grahamstown Bowling Club.

This was the third main final for Stan's Transport, winning both previous finals in 2011 and 2013.

However, new-comers to the night bowls league, The Knock Shop, went on to clinch the final and take top honours in the night bowls competition.

The Knock Shop team saw Craig and Deon Fourie, PJ McLean and Chris Nel playing for the Round Robin fixtures, and Louise Boy stepping in, in place of Nel, for the final week’s play.

Next to the Main final was the Plate final, with Albany Sports Rollers taking on The Fox Hunters.

Albany Sports Rollers, made up of Dennis and Amber Wicks, Stuart Scheepers and Clint Moss, went on to win the Plate event.
