Graeme enjoyed a fine win over Alexander Road High School while St Andrew's and Grey ended their two-day game in a draw on Saturday 15 February.

Captain Odwa Xonxa and Nicholas Zimmerman put on a 140-run partnership for the third wicket as Graeme College beat Alexander Road High School of Port Elizabeth by 170 runs.

This was Xonxa’s second and Zimmerman's maiden century for the Graeme 1sts.

Upon Zimmerman’s arrival at the milestone, Xonxa deemed it apt to declare on 275/5.

Alexander Road’s reply was unlikely as wickets tumbled readily.

Alex Road was able to recover slightly from being 44/8 down and limped toa score of 105 before finally being bowled out.

St Andrew’s 1sts were involved in a mighty tussle against Grey High School in their two day clash.

St Andrew’s won the toss and chose to bat first on a dry, but hard surface.

St Andrew’s declaring on 265/9 as Benjamin Dovey top scored with 76.

Overnight saw Grey on 97/3 after 40 overs.

Grey then declared on day two on 244/9.

With about 72 overs left in the day, St Andrew's set about making a good lead.

However, St Andrew’s were bowled out for 71, leaving Grey 93 to win with 30 minutes of play.

Grey were 75/7, leaving 18 runs to win off 12 balls as they went for the draw, finishing on 75/7.
