    Kuyasa represents in EP basketball

    Kuyasa Special School pupils Devernito du Plessis and Deano Jack represented the Eastern Province basketball side at the South African school sport for the intellectually impaired.

    Kuyasa Special School pupils Devernito du Plessis and Deano Jack represented the Eastern Province basketball side at the South African school sport for the intellectually impaired.

    The two pupils took part in the U16 basketball even which took place in Bloemfontein in December. 

    The Kuyasa U16 team represented Cacadu at the provincial championships in August, where the two were chosen to represent their province.

    Isabel Strauss, pictured with the boys below, who is the school basketball coach was selected as the EP U16 coach.

    The Eastern Province side went on to win silver at the championships after losing to North West in the final.
