Noluvuyo Kulati, a missing O Street girl, was found on Tuesday 7 January. A man has been taken in for questioning by the Grahamstown police in connection with her disappearance.

According to a statement released by police early in January, the 13-year-old Noluvuyo Kulati was last seen at her home in O Street on Friday, 3 January.

Her father reported her missing the same day.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said at the time of her disappearance she was wearing a pink skirt, white hoodie and white sandals.

Noluvuyo is fluent in isiXhosa and Afrikaans.

The police received information that she was in the company of a Tanzanian man in town.

However, police managed to track Noluvuyo down quickly.

In a statement released on Tuesday 7 January police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender said a man had been taken in for questioning, adding that Kulati had been found and interviewed by police.

She did not appear to have been harmed, police said.
