The ANC leadership of the Sara Baartman region will attend a special council meeting on Wednesday 6 November at Makana Municipality. They will be there to discuss the way ahead regarding the current financial crisis.

Regional Executive Committee secretary Scara Njadayi told Grocott's Mail on Monday morning that they had met with the so-called Makana Troika (Mayor, Speaker and Chief Whip) on Sunday. "The meeting took place yesterday and we will give you an update after the special council meeting on Wednesday," Njadayi said.
