Grahamstown's Eastern Cape welterweight boxing champion, Mzoxolo Ndwayana's fight against Phumlani Mdlokolo was postponed to the weekend of 2 and 3 November.

The tournament was organized by Andile Boxing Promotion which is based in East London. In an interview with Bulelani Ndwayana, who is a coach and also Mzoxolo's father, said that the fight wa postponed for the coming the weekend.

He said that they received news on Monday 21 October that Andile Siqwebu's brother passed away.

"So our promoter will be busy with funeral arrangement this week and then we go for boxing next weekend," he explained.

Talking about the fight, Ndwayana said that they have won the first match to Mdlokolo on first round, so they have nothing to worry about.

He said this is the boxer that we know and from that time until now we have been learning new tactics. Ndwayana said that the tournament will be held in Port Elizabeth at Walmer.
