Look at Him: In Mark 10:33, 34 we read of an account where Jesus told His disciples in detail how He was to die.

The sad part however, isn’t the fact that Jesus shared this with His disciples, but rather the fact that in verses 35–37 we find the sons of Zebedee so caught up in their desire for position and possibly status that they miss what Jesus just told them.

Unfortunately many times this is true of us as well.

We get so caught up in the 'me, myself and I’ mindset that we miss what God is doing around us or even wanting to share with us.
No wonder the Bible reminds us in Hebrews 12:1b, 2a: Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith. If we do this it’s almost a guarantee that we won’t miss what God is doing or sharing with us.
