Phaphamani Children's Literature will also offer reading, as well as creative writing and face-painting, organised games and puppet shows complete the kids' line-up.

Music, dance, drama, exhibitions, poetry and discussions on social change and nation-building are also on the Fingo Festival programme.

Wordsuntame, Spoze, Bliss and Azlan, Near Collective and Via Kasi Movers are some of the acts lined up, as well as Ubom! drama company and Sakhuluntu Cultural Group.

Kehase, a Rastafarian cultural organisation from Port Elizabeth, will be discussing the history of Black people, telling stories of the amaXhosa and the amaNguni.
