Artists Alison van Zijl lives in Still Bay in the Southern Cape while Mandy McKay lives in Cape Town – but both have their roots in the Eastern Cape.

Alison paints in both water colour and oils, and her sketch book and watercolours accompany her on all her travels fitted in between her busy career as an interior designer.

Mandy specialises in oil painting, working from her home in Pinelands, Cape Town.

She worked in the advertising and publishing industries for several years.

Her graphic design experience now compliments her painting career.

Being out in nature, with its fauna, flora and ever-changing light is where these two artists gather their inspiration.
