    Camagu leads Grahamstown in Comrades

    Sisa Camagu of Run/Walk For Life Athletics Club was the first Grahamstown runner to finish the Comrades Marathon.

    Sisa Camagu of Run/Walk For Life Athletics Club was the first Grahamstown runner to finish the Comrades Marathon.

    Camagu finished the grueling 86.96km race in 7 hours 42 minutes 53 seconds, earning himself a Bill Rowan medal.

    The 88th running of the Comrades Marathon took place on Sunday 2 June.

    The event was an 'Up' run, starting from Durban and ending in Pietermaritzburg. This was Camagu's second Comrades Marathon, after completing the 'Down' run last year.
