    Rhodes archers come out tops

    Fresh from the South African National Archery Championships Lance Ho, Simon Naude and Christo Nel competed in the Rhodes University Archery Championships in the beginning of May.

    Fresh from the South African National Archery Championships Lance Ho, Simon Naude and Christo Nel competed in the Rhodes University Archery Championships in the beginning of May.

    Squaring off against archers from around the Eastern Cape, these Rhodes University sharp-shooters battled it out in the 720 round.

    In the Compound Men’s division Nel, Ho and Naude battled it out and in the end Ho took gold with a 661, Nel followed with a 652 (his first provincial colours qualifying score) and Naude with Bronze at 630.

    Kevin Lobb clinched gold in the Recurve Men’s Division and para-athlete Anton-Pierre Swart achieved first place.
