The UBOM! company is recently back from two wildly successful tours – Betti and the Yeti at the Knysna schools festival and STDiesel at the KwaZulu-Natal schools festival.

The company is already immersed in research for their National Arts Festival production, Hoss, where the Eastern Cape meets Western Cape.

Directed by award-winning theatre-maker, Rob Murray, Hoss promises to be a must see this Festival.

UBOM! will soon be wowing audiences again at the Eastern Cape Schools Festival in Grahamstown.

They will also be providing a selection of stimulating workshops and will be performing an abridged version of Betti and the Yeti at the Community Engagement Week on May 7.

Marketing and Project Manager Sifiso Sikhakhane is heading back to his home city of Durban, joining The Playhouse Company as Arts Coordinator (Trainee).

In his place will be Casha Jacot-Guillarmod, recently returned from her inter-continental adventures in which she broadened her design skills in the US.

Along with her new administrative position, she heads the design team for both festival productions: Hoss and Betti and the Yeti.
