    Local security company opens Joza office

    Hi-Tec Security says the new office they have opened on the grounds of Nombulelo High School will reduce response time to Joza clients, and save on fuel costs.

    Hi-Tec Security says the new office they have opened on the grounds of Nombulelo High School will reduce response time to Joza clients, and save on fuel costs.

    For the 21 years the company has provided comprehensive security services to businesses, households and other entities in Grahamstown, Hi-Tec Security has operated from offices in New Street.

    The company's director, Andrew Butters, said with the customer base growing at a steady pace, they took the decision late last year to open a satellite office in Joza township.

    The new office is linked to the main city-centre control room via radio, and has its own office staff, response personnel and two vehicles.

    “We decided on this satellite office as it will reduce response time to our clients residing in Joza significantly, as well as saving on fuel costs,” said Butters.

    “Prior to the office becoming operational our staff had to drive from town whenever there was an alarm call. There have been ongoing calls from our Joza clients to establish an office closer to them. Now we are right there.”
