An 18-year-old man appeared in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court this morning on a charge of possession of suspected stolen property.

Two members of the Robbery Task team in Grahamstown were acting on a tip-off that two men were selling cell phones at a hair salon in Beaufort Street.

On entering the premises, they found two men in the store along with the owner.

They confiscated a cell phone from one of the men, who was intending to sell it for R300.
