Victoria Girls' High School held its Inter House Games Day on Friday.

A number of pre-events took place earlier in the week at the Rhodes University Prospect Field, including the 400m, 800m and 200m.

The main event on Friday saw each VG pupil being placed into a rounders team.

The match took a round-robin format, culminating in the final match between the teams that scored the most number of points throughout the day.

Interspersed with the rounders matches were the more traditional athletics events including 100m sprints, long jump, high jump, discus, javelin and shotput.
