Three males aged 23, 24 and 29 who were arrested for alleged drug dealing late last week are due to appear in the Grahamstown magistrates court today, said the SAPS in a statement.

The Grahamstown Highway patrol were holding a vehicle check point on the N2 under the Grahamstown/Port Alfred (R67) Bridge when a red Ford Bantam bakkie passed them without stopping.
After chasing the vehicle, they managed to pull it over.
"During an inspection of the vehicle, they noticed that the screws on all four panels had been tampered with," read the statement. "Further investigation revealed that a bag containing 5kg of dagga was concealed in the panel."
All three suspects were arrested.
