    U15 soccer kicks off

    A higher primary school U15 soccer league begins with matches today at Rhodes University's King Field. The first match, at 2pm, is between Sakhulutsha Soccer Development Project and St Mary's, followed at 3pm by Ntaba Maria vs Good Shepherd. At 4pm is George Dickerson vs NV Cewu.

    A higher primary school U15 soccer league begins with matches today at Rhodes University's King Field. The first match, at 2pm, is between Sakhulutsha Soccer Development Project and St Mary's, followed at 3pm by Ntaba Maria vs Good Shepherd. At 4pm is George Dickerson vs NV Cewu. Project leader Siyabonga Masinda was approached by various school leaders to begin the projects, which he says will aim to keep the pupils motivated to play soccer. Masinda says there are plans for an U11 league.
