    Feel the Spirit Fest

    Spirit Fest during the National Arts Festival is a celebration of the arts in the context of the Christian faith. It will incorporate acts of worship and celebration at the Cathedral and all are warmly welcomed to attend.

    Spirit Fest during the National Arts Festival is a celebration of the arts in the context of the Christian faith. It will incorporate acts of worship and celebration at the Cathedral and all are warmly welcomed to attend.
    The first Festival Eucharist will be on 1 July from 9.30am – 11am. Bob Chilcott will present italA little Jazz Mass/ital, featuring Barbara Stout and the Cathedral Young Choristers, as well as organist Dr AJ Bethke with the choristers.

    Reverend Prof Barney Pityana GCOB will give the sermon.
    Also on 1 July, the Combined Churches Gospel Music Service will take place at 7pm.
    The second Festival Eucharist, on 8 July, also runs from 9.30am – 11am, but will be accompanied by the Marimba Mass performance. Reverend Dr Simon Tibbs will preach.
