It is important to contribute to education, said Zola Yeye, Provincial General Manager of the South Africa Broadcasting Commission in the Eastern Cape. We may struggle to get answers that we need in our life because answers are hidden in education.

Yeye said that the books would help children. If you are not educated in this time of life you are going to be poor, he said. He said encouraging children to read books and contribute to communities was the key to a better life.

School principal Lindelo Ramokolo explained that the project had been timed to take place during June, Youth Month. It was a reminder that in the June 16 Soweto uprising, the youth of South Africa had been protesting for equal education.
