The Grahamstown Cricket Board (GCB) 20/20 semi-finals and finals take place on Sunday at Manley Flats.

The matches start at 9am. Manley Flats face Salem and Port Alfred will face Cuylerville, with the winners of each match going through to the finals, on the same day. Manley Flats beat Makana Sona and Salem 2 in the first 20/20 round matches, on 29 October.

Port Alfred beat Sidbury and Tiger Titans, while Cuylerville beat Willows and Manley Flats 2. Swallows beat Southwell, in what was the upset of the 20/20 competition. Salem beat Swallows and Southwell beat Salem.

Salem made it through to the semi-finals because of their better run-rate. On Saturday the EP Grahamstown rural side will face Border Villages at Manley Flats.

The EP Grahamstown side is made up of players from the GCB first league. Log leaders in the GCB first league are Rhodes Rhodents, who have earned 14 points after six games.

However, the Rhodes side have played more games than the other teams, due to the long holiday break, which will see them return to the GCB fixtures in February.

Manley Flats are second, with 13 points after three games. Rhodes Shrews lead the GCB second league with 20 points after seven games, while Manley Flats is in second spot with 15 points after three games.

In the weekend's results, from the first league – Manley Flats beat Salem and Southwell beat Willows. The Makana vs Cuylerville games was rained out, while the Sidbury vs Port Alfred match did not take place, due to Port Alfred being unable to field a side.

In the second league games, Manley Flats beat Kenton and Salem beat Swallows. The Station Hill vs Tiger Titans match was rained out, while the Southwell vs Port Alfred match did not take place due to Port Alfred being unable to field a side.
