Kingswood lead girls’ athletics

Hosts, Kingswood College were overall winners at last week's senior girls athletics quadrangular on the Kingswood sports fields. Other schools taking part were Victoria Girls' High School, Mary Waters High School and DSG.

Kingswood won the Ann Bandey Shield with a total of 141.5 points. VGHS was second with 108.5 points, squeaking past DSG, who finished on 108 points. Mary Waters were not able to send a full team to the meeting, but their participating athletes joined in with enthusiasm regardless.
