    This English/isiZulu production is an exploration of the contradictions between life and death, the individual and the collective, tradition and modernity. The acting is careful and passionate, the set effectively moody, and the story compelling. Accompanied throughout by masterful percussionists on about 25 different instruments, the play is rich with ritual. CK
