This arrangement for piano four-hands of Mahler’s fifth symphony is performed by Dawid Boverhoff and Marga Sander. Many of the challenges presented by this ambitious sixty-eight minute work were overcome by the performers, though communication between the two, as well as animation, was somewhat lacking. An impressive and worthwhile performance, nonetheless.
