    Graeme College to host fun tournament

    Graeme College wil be hosting a fun touch  rugby tournament to raise funds for the U13A rugby team who are attending a festival in Cape Town next year. “Of the 20 boys who will be on tour, 16 of them have never been to Cape Town and 15 of them have never been on a plane,” says Craig Holman, organiser of the tour.

    Graeme College wil be hosting a fun touch  rugby tournament to raise funds for the U13A rugby team who are attending a festival in Cape Town next year. “Of the 20 boys who will be on tour, 16 of them have never been to Cape Town and 15 of them have never been on a plane,” says Craig Holman, organiser of the tour.


    The team will attend the Rondebosch U13 Festival, which will also feature schools from the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, Western cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

    According to Holman, the tour will cost between R65 000 and R70 000. The groupings of the touch rugby tournament, which takes place on Saturday 11 September at 10am, will work as follows: Boys U13, U15, open Mixed section Here a team of eight must have a minimum to two females in the team Girls U13, U15, Open Besides all the rugger entertainment, there will also be jumping castles and refreshments on sale. Entry is R100 per team and registration closes on Wednesday 8 September.
