    Vote for Grahamstown’s most alike fathers and children

    Father’s Day is on Sunday 20 June, and to mark the occasion Grocott’s Mail is running a Grahamstown Father and Child look-alike competition. View the photo gallery here and vote for your winner here. 

    Father’s Day is on Sunday 20 June, and to mark the occasion Grocott’s Mail is running a Grahamstown Father and Child look-alike competition. View the photo gallery here and vote for your winner here. 

    Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday 23 June and the winner will be announced in the Friday 25 June edition of Grocott’s Mail, as well as on Grocott’s Online on the same date.

    To submit a late entry, please email your photo to online@grocotts.co.za.

    UPDATE (25 June 2010)

    We had 27 entries for our Father and Child look-alike competition. Congratulations to the winners, Orren and Léyaan-té Jacobs, who will receive a bottle of wine, and vouchers for Dulce restaurant and KFC.

    The top five positions were as follows: 

    Orren and Léyaan-té Jacob: 87 votes (75 online + 12 SMS)
    Ishahd and Erin Nelson: 78 votes (38 online + 40 SMS)
    Siyabulela and Uphumlo Ncula: 43 votes (43 online)
    Harry and Herman de Bruin: 42 votes (32 online + 10 SMS)
    Andy and Jedd Youthed: 30 votes (29 online + one SMS)

    The second prize runner-up receives vouchers from Dulce and KFC while the third prize winner receives a six-month subscription to Grocott’s Mail.

    Please note that duplicate votes (whether submitted online or via SMS) were not counted when tallying the results.
