The Makana Local Football Association will host its Easter Soccer Tournament this weekend at JD Dlepu Stadium.

The tournament will start tomorrow and will continue up until Monday 5 April when the final games will be played. League official, Chris Totobela said: “The aim of the tournament is to revive the spirit of  soccer.”

There will be many prizes to be given away for all involved from players to fans. “There will be prizes for the best goal scorer, the best player, the best goalie of the tournament, but we will encourage our passionate fans by including the Best Fan prize.”

Totobela urged all to come and experience this revival of local football, as he said: “All should come as we will be playing, not just for ourselves but for Grahamstown football’s victory.”
