The St Andrew’s College U15A team and first team played against Graeme College in the final leg of the annual Knowling Shield recently.

The St Andrew’s juniors were too strong for their opponents and didn’t drop any matches for a 5-0 final score.

For the seniors, James Price and Dane van der Westhuyzen of St Andrew’s outclassed their opponents and took both matches in two easy sets.

The St Andrew’s doubles teams of Rushmere/Staubo, Glyn/Croxton and Grafton/ Boshoff had slightly tougher matches but eventually all three prevailed, with only Glyn and Croxton dropping a set.

That gave St Andrew’s a 5-0 victory over Graeme, which meant the final results were as follows: Greame: 2, Kingswood: 4 and St Andrew’s: 9 points.
