A well known evangelist will be visiting Grahamstown in March to hold talks and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. James Rafferty is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) and a co-director and gospel worker for Light Bearers Ministry in the United States of America.

He has 24 years of experience in full time ministry. Rafferty is married to Risë and they have two children, Jeiel (16) and Kierra (11).

As part of his evangelistic work he will be visiting South Africa, in particular Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown from 9 to14 March.

While in PE he is scheduled to conduct a camp meeting campaign organised by the SDA church in KwaDwesi and Veeplaas and spend a day counselling couples.

In Grahamstown, you can join him at the 1820 Settlers Mounument where he will be preaching and sharing his distinct vision for ministry and making Christ the central focus of every discourse, including prophecy.

Rafferty is convinced that Jesus Christ is the answer, God’s Word is the power, and prayer is the answer to all questions.

Rafferty will arrive in  Grahamstown on 12 March and will deliver his first sermon at Joza SDA church in Extension 6 at 6pm. Preaching and teaching will continue on Saturday and Sunday at the Monument.
