The Makana Local Football Association (LFA) pre-season soccer tournament, which has been going on since early October, will hopefully be concluded this week.

Phoenix Pioneers have booked their spot in the finals, after beating Eleven Attackers in the first semi-final last Friday.

The second semi-final takes place at JD Dlepu Stadium on Wednesday at 6pm and will feature Golden Stars vs Makana Pillars.

Makana LFA secretary, Thandazile Madinda, said once the second semi-final has been played, it will be decided when the final will take place, but said that Friday has been earmarked for the clash.

The LFA was scheduled to meet last night to finalise the 2009/2010 fixtures, and Madinda said the two Makana leagues, the Metropolitan League and the Development League, should kick off by the weekend.
