Pepper Grove Mall is in for a massive upgrade as a number of national chain stores have booked their spots.

When it was announced that SuperSpar would be moving to Plum Tree Mall, next to Pepper Grove, Rob Beer of Beer Property Management confirmed that without SuperSpar, the area will no longer be called Plum Tree Mall, but is now an extension to Pepper Grove Mall.

Beer says a new KFC drive-thru will be complete by the end of November, and KFC hope to begin trading from the premises in December.

Scooters Pizza will also be moving in to the new extension of the mall, which will be situated next to KFC. Mr Price Home will also relocate to the mall, while another eight to ten smaller shops and offices will also be moving in.

Construction is currently focused on the KFC building, and once complete the new Mr Price Home will be built and then the rest of the premises housing the smaller business. Beer says about 70 more parking bays will be available in the new extension, and there will be a walkway leading to the current Pepper Grove Mall section. The rest of the shops will be complete by March 2010.
